A New Bamboo and thatch hut in Atlanta

This summer the TR team designed and built a poolside tiki hut using 4" Guadua bamboo poles and Tre Gai solid bamboo for lateral supports and roof structure. The natural roof material is made of elephant grass from Indonesia.  The interior features custom cabinetry and bar, hand carved back bar and shelving.  

I really love the stage before the roof goes on and you can really appreciate the bamboo framework.  The client loves his new bamboo hut - nothing like it.
